The Killers - The Essential Songs (according to @teethspots)
To say that I’m a Killers fan might be a bit of an understatement. Friends seem to think that the term ‘fanatic’ is more accurate. This band got me through high school and influenced everything during that time, from fashion (have you ever seen a pudgy girl try to dress like Brandon Flowers? You’re lucky if you haven’t!) to my own songwriting. The Killers are still very much a massive part of my musical life and with good reason. There’s something very whimsical and light on the surface of all their songs, but when you dig a little deeper there’s just so much to listen to and for. So, if you stopped listening to these guys after you heard Mr. Brightside one billion times too many on your local radio station, or if you never listened to them for a multitude of other reasons, I’ve uploaded my favourite songs from their three major albums (Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, & Day and Age) and their b-sides album (Sawdust), as well as Brandon Flowers’ solo album (Flamingo). I’ve decided to omit remixes and live versions of songs from their Live from the Royal Albert Hall DVD just to keep the file size down.
